ACT-SO is a year-long enrichment program designed to recruit, stimulate, improve and encourage high academic and cultural achievement among African-American high school students. ACT-SO is an acronym for Afro-Academic, Cultural, Technological and Scientific Olympics.

ACT-SO includes 29 competitions in STEM, humanities, business, and performing, visual and culinary arts. Almost 300,000 young people have participated from the program since its inception.

ACT-SO is a community based program that provides multiple opportunities for involvement. Community members may participate as:  Chairpersons, mentors, sponsors, organizers, competitors, benefactors and educational partners. The program receives support from schools, local businesses, community organizations, churches, foundations, major corporations and individuals.

    I was once a scholar of West wood college. I have a cousin who wanted to admit on this tuition. Are you able to please share an update about West wood college time for 2017? I am eagerly waiting to understand. As a pupil of West wood school, i’m constantly happy with it that i’m an ex. Pupil of West wood college. Thanks a lot and preserve posting things like this.
